Now open: 1 The Island Quarter

Our first phase, 1 The Island Quarter, opened in autumn 2022 with restaurants, bars and multiple event spaces. It includes a state-of-the-art outdoor stage on a 1000-capacity courtyard with outdoor bars and food trucks, an Art-Deco inspired, double-height hall for weddings, galas and conferences, and a rooftop space overlooking the development.

Hotels, Residential, Offices, Bars and Restaurants

Phase 1B will be the beating heart of the development – a place to visit, work, eat, drink and play. It features a 228-room hotel, a landmark BTR residential development with 247 apartments, 2,800sqm of serviced offices, and a central, ground floor Forum designed as a place for people to meet and socialise.

Student accommodation 693 units

The second phase to come forward is a 693-bed student accommodation (PBSA) which received detailed planning approval and is under construction with completion scheduled in June 2024. In partnership with award-winning student accommodation providers Fresh, the accommodation will make a secure, comfortable home for hundreds of students.

Warehouse Buildings & Digital Arts Community

A new creative and cultural space for the East Midlands; we’re transforming the historic warehouse buildings into a hub for a new digital arts community.
